Winning Roulette Tips
Roulette is a game of chance, but many believe that certain strategies work. I'd like to share the top five tips that I've learned while playing Roulette that I honestly believe will you help you win too!
Know your money. Firstly, know how much you are willing to spend at the table. Don't blow more than your bankroll - you went with that much money only for a reason. And, it wasn't because you wanted to make a donation to someone else. Secondly, know how much money you are actually betting and what the odds are. That way, when you lose you know how much money you actually just lost and when you win, you'll understand how much money should be receiving back.
Don't randomize your bets. You should bet numbers that are located on different parts of the wheel, but you should not keep changing your bets. First of all, changing you bets is infuriating when the number you always play hits the one time you decided not to play it. When you randomize your bets, you tend to play more recklessly because you're placing chips all around the board and most likely spending more money on each spin than you had truly planned on. Don't be concerned if there are all ready chips on the number or space you wanted to play; different color chips can be placed on top of each other. And, it only adds to the excitement when more than one person wins big. You are allowed to place bets on table up until the time when the dealer says no more bets.
If you have the choice to play on a Roulette wheel that has one zero only or the double zero, you definitely want to play on the one with only one zero, the European wheel. The European wheel has a house edge of 2.63 percent. The double zero is the American version of the Roulette wheel and adds to house edge, giving them a total 5.26 percent. The European wheels are quite difficult to find in casinos, but they are quite accessible online as long as you know to look for them.
Playing at a full table is advantageous to you and your money. Roulette is an exciting game and there is definitely camaraderie at the table. When the table is full, there will be more excitement and it will be more fun. More importantly, it will also minimize the number of times the wheel will be spun during your time there and will lend to less time that your money is on the table.
Because Roulette is a game of chance, there is always the possibility of losing. One of the greatest tips I have heard is that you should play for fun, not to earn a living. On the same note, know when to walk away. If you're up a good amount of money, I know it's terribly difficult to walk away, but if you lose a hand - maybe it's time to go grab something to eat!
